I was born February 13 (Friday the 13th) in Monticello, Arkansas.  I moved around a lot as a child, went to four different schools, which I believe was a blessing.  I love to meet new people and my family will tell you I will talk to anyone, anywhere, and to complete strangers.  I have been married to the love of my life for 32 years....Coach Jenkins!  We have two beautiful children, well, one beautiful, one handsome, Jeffrey is 31 years old and Allison is 27.  We have one grandchild, Arizona Rhys, and we do spoil her rotten.  I have been teaching for the past twenty-one years, nineteen of these years have been right here at the Grove.  I love teaching and I love my students....past and present.  I recieved my BA in History and Social Studies in 1983 and recently earned my Masters in Library Media Science. Two years ago I moved to the library and I am really excited about being the librarian. My hobbies are reading, photography,and learning new technology and playing with my grandbaby! I hope to be a beach bum when and if I get to retire!
