    Assignments/Homework:  pp. 85-86, problems:

     

    Instructional Plan/Activity:  Students will begin solving equations using only one step.  Some will be so easy that they may be solved mentally and others will require some calculating.  Students will learn how to structure their equations now, so that when they have multiple steps, they can keep their work organized and neat.
